Who we are
The Longing Veil (“we”, “us”) is a literary book club operated by Hina Abbasi. This policy explains what information we collect through thelongingveil.com and how we use it.

Information we collect
When you use our forms, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone or WhatsApp number (optional)
- Favorite books and book recommendations
- Messages you send through the contact form
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and site operation.
How we use your information
- To process book club registrations and membership communication
- To send reading updates, meeting details, and reminders you requested
- To reply to contact messages
- To improve the website and prevent abuse
We do not sell your personal information.
Where your data is processed
Form submissions are processed through Web3Forms and emailed to our club inbox. Emails to hello@thelongingveil.com are forwarded to our mailbox via Cloudflare Email Routing.
Cookies and analytics
We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools later (for example Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), this policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested.
How long we keep data
We keep membership and contact information only as long as needed to run the club and respond to you, or longer if required by law. You may ask us to delete your details at any time.

- Access the information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate details
- Request deletion
- Unsubscribe from reminders or club emails
Children
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
